Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A few months back Damien Divine tried to break my neck, Iam about 90% better now and working on trying to get back in the ring next week. My debut will be at USWO in Nashville, Tn. I went to meet the promoter last night and watched the show. It was one heck of a show, pretty similar to AWA Supreme. I spoke to Tony Falk, for you who don't know who he is (he worked for the USWA for a long time) he is the promoter and owner of USWO. I will keep you updated with my progress and show results from down here. For you who don't know I have moved to Nashville, Tennessee with my job and things are going pretty good down here. I should be able to come back to AWA Supreme sometime in July. Well got to go, yall be safe and have a good week. Just Something To Talk About
I wrestled in Madison, In this past weekend at AWA Supreme. I faired pretty good I thought especially when the two guys I was in there with had arms the size of my legs. Yea, SWV I'll give you credit when credit is due. Now even though the odds were against me I went ahead and wrestled a triple threat match LiveWire vs. SWV vs. The Superbeast. Even though I won the match I don't consider it to be a win especially when me and the Superbeast pounded on SWV for most of the match and I just caught SWV with my kilowatt at just the right time. It was good to see Billy Maverick Saturday haven't seen him in a while. Hang in there Billy, PWI Top 500 will be knockin at your door soon enough. Another thing I wanted to address was all the negetive attitudes in some locker rooms I have been in. For Example, I am all the time hearing that guy sucks or he did that wrong or who trained this guy. Guys, I am all for critizing but do it one on one and not in front of everyone. I have seen some of the more experienced guys talk to the greener guys one on one and it works out better that way instead of putting people on the spot in front of there peers. Another thing I have seen is wrestlers bad mouthing and moching other wrestlers behind there backs. If you guys or girls have a problem with one of the workers go to that worker about it instead continusly dogging him behind his back. Come on people we are all here to accomplish a common goal and that is to put on the best possible show and we cannot do that when there is heat in the locker room. As far as I know I have no heat with anyone. I like to get along with everyone because one day I may have to wrestle them and when I do I don't want no heat involved in the match because that would leave room for mistakes or worse case senerio a fight break out into the crowd. Well that's all for now see yaw at the matches. | | Saturday, September 10th, 2005 | | 2:28 pm |
OMG I Updated
Enough of the stories! It's been awhile since I have been on here. I just want to start off by saying>>>>>>>WHATSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP? I have been gone from SCW for awhile occasionally dropping in to do a match. And just to let everyone out there know everything is going good. In my absence I have been wrestling for NWA Main Event in Nashville, TN and also MCIW out of Scottsburg, In. I think the big thing right now is just to get my name out there. Not that it would help me to get to the Federation but just to say hey I have had fun. I think for me in this business is just to have fun with this and go out each and every time and say yea I put 110% in each and every match. Well got to go for now I'll see you all at the matches. Cont. Summer 1999
Something I forgot to mention was that we all sold tickets.( us amteurs that is)Now before the next show we had a little bit of training. What do I mean about a little bit was that we rented a ring from Independent Superstar The Drifter Jim Mandell and he came down and taught us a little bit of ring basics of course, he didn't teach us a whole lot because he was doing this for free. For all of you that don't know Jim I will talk about a little more in a different post. Well the week before the show we all sold tickets for our amteur night. Believe it or night we had a packed house for Amteur Night but as far as some as the amteurs they did not have a good night. The show started off with the surprise of Vic the Bruiser as special guest ref. Can you imagine the ref being bigger than the wrestlers? All the matches except for the main ended with both wrestlers going to the hospital. Vic had a plan if he was going to ref than than he was going to interfere in each and every match. Of course, back then Vic did not travel alone he had his partner waiting in the back. The end of the first match was a no contest about 5 minutes in the match Vic hit one of them and gave a neck breaker to the other. Then Al Blade came out and here came the chair shots. I heard them all the way in the back. Vic and Al got done with there terror and we went out to pick up the remains. It just so happen that we these guys took the chair shots they both put there head down and the back of the chair cut the top of there head open it was a bloody mess. I can't remember the other matches other than mine but I do remember that one of the amteurs was back talking Vic during intermission and the next thing I saw was Vic grab this guy by the hair and dragged him out to the ring and gave him at least 3 or 4 power bombs each time slam him down as hard as he could and not letting go just to pick him back up and give it to him again. By no means is Vic a bully, but this guy disrepected him and he deserved everything he got. It was the main event it was me LiveWire vs. (Eric Dravens best friend! LOL) BA Skynyrd. We went 10 minutes or so just working the basics that we were taught earlier that week. Then out of now where here come Al Blade Vic picked BA Skynyrd up gave him a neck breaker and he was done. Now at the time during practice earlier that week I cracked a rib. So Vic capitalized on that and worked that for a good 15 minutes or so. I oversold and the locker room was cleaned out they cleared Vic and Al out of the ring we finally got to the back and Vic looked up at me and said "good job but if ever scare me like that again I am going to kill you" of course he was kidding about killing me but I guess I oversold to much. There were two things I learned that night 1)All ways respect the person who is trying to teach you something 2) Don't over sell the guy your in the ring with will help you out just listen and do what he tells you. Thats all for now! Next post I will be talking about our meeting we had at Matt Bickers house and the debut of LiveWire in SCW. Summer 1999
It was the summer of 1999 when I entered this great sport we call Professional Wrestling. At that time Steve Austin was the WWF Champ, Hulk Hogan was the WCW Champ, Taz was the ECW Champ, Naoya Ogawa was the NWA Champ, and last but not least the AWA had no Champ listed. I was at work and one of my employees ask me if I wanted to be a Pro Wrestler. Of course, I said yes growing up thats all I ever wanted to be. So that Saturday I came here to Madison at the Fairgrounds. A guy by the name of Matt Bickers was running a show. He had guys there like Vic the Brusier, Al Blade, Rock n Roll Rebel, and a few more. Now I was involved in an ametuer Battle Royal where I was in there with a bunch of other ametuers. Looking back I should have not even been in that ring nor should of any of the others, because no one knew what they was doing. There were guys taking bumps while there was 10 other guys in the ring. Anyhow, me and another guy was left in the ring, unfortantally I was thrown out. After it was all said and done we got to the back, and I remember one of the vets talking to Matt and telling him we should have not been out there with out any formal training. I will tell you about the next show later. I am sure all you are thinking your a freakin idiot but we all had our days right! Is it Sunday yet?
Is it Sunday yet? I have worked all week without a day off. I guess I am like Draven tired of being tired!! Well this week has sucked so far. First, my license plates expired last night and I have had time to go to the license branch to get them renewed. Second, My brakes on my car has been grinding for ever and guess what I have not had time to change them either. About, the only thing I am looking forward to this week is either my wife having our baby or wrestling Saturday night at AWA/SCW in Madison, Indiana. Well, Draven you wanted me to get a journal! Well here it is. Current Mood: bouncyCurrent Music: Another Bites The Dust > Queen | | Monday, May 9th, 2005 | | 3:02 pm |
